The Orléans Loiret Basket team has recently added five new recruits to its ranks: Brian Greene, Marc-Antoine Pellin, Yohann Sangaré, David Monds and Georgi Joseph. They will be joining Amara Sy, Malèye Ndoye, Maël Lebrun, William Hervé and Johwé Casseus.
Brian Greene is back in the Orléans region. Brian is an experienced and aggressive US player, and good to have on your side for 3-point shots. He played in the finals of Semaine des As and then in the French championships 3 years ago.
Yohann Sangaré is an experienced player, both as a shooter and a passer. He was selected for the French team 18 times. He was coached by Philippe Hervé at Villeurbanne. By returning to Orléans, he will be rejoining his family and a friend, Amara Sy.
Marc-Antoine Pellin is a young point guard and a hard hit on the attack. Thanks to his height of 1.69 m, he is an excellent passer, while handy to have on the defensive. Marc-Antoine was born in Orléans, and is delighted to “return home”.
David Monds is a US player with a solid international career behind him. He arrived in France last season and proved his worth in Pro B, as 3rd blocker and 3rd in defensive rebounds as a pivot.
Georgi Josephis French, from Haiti, and an experienced pivot. He won the French Pro B championship in 2009-2010. He is a hard hitting player with character, both on the offensive and the defensive.
The Orléans Loiret Basket team will soon be complete. One final recruitment is imminent. The club is on the right road to claim the lead slot for the Pro A basketball championships for the 2011-2012 season. The Mr Bricolage group will be on hand to support the team.
