A Mr.Bricolage store opened today in Issenheim (68). This store can boast an indoor area of 1,200 m² dedicated to DIY and 200 m² of gardening products. An outdoor area of 600 m² contains outdoor furnishing products and materials.
The range includes 20,000 references for DIY, decoration and furnishing products and the store can offer a wood and glass cutting service.
According to the local press, the Mr.Bricolage store in Strasbourg is awaited with impatience. Since the closure of a rival store, a few years ago, Strasbourg was left without a DIY store in the town centre. The opening of this store of 1,500 m² with its two floors attracted a crowd. The Strasbourg residents at the opening were all pleased to be able to obtain DIY products without need to take the car or the tram.
Customers will be even more satisfied in the near future as the store plans to set up a home delivery service. This opening is part of the current comeback of local shops in France.
