L’Institut de Formation à la Gestion et au Commerce (IFOGECO) dédié au groupe Mr.Bricolage, a remis les diplômes délivrés par son « Ecole des managers ». Lors de la soirée du 9 janvier 2012, la promotion « Joris » a cédé la place à la promotion « Doras ». La cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence de Pierre-Yves Doras, un des fondateurs du groupement d’indépendants.
IFOGECO a lancé sa 4ème promotion de l’Ecole des managers. Elle est l’héritière de l’Ecole des chefs de magasin créée en 1988. Depuis cette date et pratiquement sans interruption, le groupe Mr.Bricolage forme une partie de ses futurs dirigeants. Depuis quelques années, l’Ecole des managers forme également les fils et filles d’adhérents. Elle les prépare à la reprise de l’entreprise de leurs parents. Cette année, un des participants vient du réseau Mr.Bricolage en Belgique.

La soirée s’est placée sous le signe du passage de flambeau. Plusieurs générations d’élèves formés par le groupe Mr.Bricolage étaient présentes. Parmi ceux-ci, Jean-François Boucher, président-directeur général du groupe Mr.Bricolage, diplômé de la 2ème promotion en 1989. Dans son discours, Jean-François Boucher a énuméré certains noms de collaborateurs et dirigeants présents, diplômés par l’institut de formation Mr.Bricolage :

• Jean-Mary Marie, issu de la première promotion en 1988 et actuel directeur général délégué ;
• Christophe Dubus, actuel directeur des systèmes d’information et fils du premier collaborateur salarié de la centrale du groupe ;
• Nicolas Bloche, responsable de catégorie sanitaire ;
• Patrick Morin, responsable du nouveau concept marchand.

Il a également cité Vincent Bertreux, absent de cette soirée. Après un parcours en magasin, Vincent Bertreux a rejoint la centrale en tant que marchandiseur. Il est ensuite devenu responsable de la publicité avant de prendre le poste de directeur des achats. Vincent Bertreux a depuis repris un magasin Mr.Bricolage à Davezieux (Annonay / Ardèche) dans le cadre du Passeport pour entreprendre.
Avec cet exemple, Jean-François Boucher a rappelé qu’un collaborateur avait la capacité d’évoluer au sein du groupe Mr.Bricolage. Ajoutant qu’il pouvait même devenir à son tour, adhérent du groupement. Le p-dg du groupe avait introduit son discours en déclarant que la valeur essentielle de Mr.Bricolage est celle des femmes et des hommes qui composent l’enseigne.
C’est avec beaucoup d’émotion que Pierre-Yves Doras est venu témoigner. A l’origine, il exploitait un négoce de matériaux de construction avec son frère. Quand en 1958, il a ouvert son magasin de bricolage, il pressentait l’émergence d’un nouveau marché. Il a alors cherché en France, d’autres pionniers sur ce marché. C’est en 1962 que les Ivernel de Valenciennes, Doras de Dijon, Popinet de Lyon et, Mouret de Marseille se sont rencontrés et ont commencé à partager leur expérience. C’est au cours de leurs rencontres successives qu’ils ont jeté les bases de ce qui allait être le premier groupement d’indépendants du bricolage en France en 1965.

Pierre-Yves Doras a insisté sur les valeurs qui guidaient les fondateurs du groupement à cette époque. Il a notamment cité la solidarité, le partage et le respect de l’autre, réunis autour d’un intérêt commun. Un peu plus tôt dans l’après-midi, accompagné de son épouse, sa fille et de son gendre, actuels adhérents, Pierre-Yves Doras avait pu échanger avec les jeunes stagiaires de l’Ecole des managers. Il a été très content de renouer avec les acteurs d’aujourd’hui ainsi que les différentes générations qui constituent actuellement l’enseigne.

Mr.Bricolage participated at a fair to promote jobs for the disabled with Jobekia at Tours on 23 June 2011.

This event was based on the new job fair concept of Jobekia: “Les Recrut’Heures”. This formula involves the organisation of job fora on a local-scale, in various French towns.

The Mr.Bricolage group signed an agreement with Agefiph at the start of the year. The group is reinforcing its initiatives to encourage the employment of the disabled in the various structures. The Mr.Bricolage group was recently elected employer of the year by the readers of the Rebondir magazine. Mr.Bricolage is currently recruiting to meet its requirements:

• In stores in France: vendors, check-out operators, receiving staff, department managers and directors;
• At the head office in Orléans (45): hotline operators, accountants, database managers, buyers and controllers.

Mr Bricolage will meet with job seekers at several fairs in France in 2011.

The different entities of the Mr Bricolage group are recording growth. The jobs proposed by the group are based in stores, warehouses and the different support services working for the head office and its subsidiaries. Mr Bricolage is a partner of Pôle-Emploi, which assists with recruitment. The group will continue with its active policy to meet with future members of personnel directly in the regions. In 2010, Mr Bricolage participated at 42 fairs throughout France.

On 21 September, the Mr.Bricolage group, represented by Claire Berlie, Regional recruitment manager, signed a 3-year partnership agreement with the Job seekers office (Pôle Emploi) in the region of Rhône-Alpes. The agreement covers the region of PACA, Rhône-Alpes and Centre Sud for the store. This “pilot” initiative is expected to be gradually extended to other regions.
The aim is to simplify recruitment for the company by defining a shared strategy for action: definition of requirements, support for the organisation of recruitment, selection of methods, etc.
Recruitment for group stores is the responsibility of three Regional recruitment managers, particularly for the following positions: Department manager, Vendor, Cash desk operator and Receiver.
Two partners use the recruitment by simulation method, and the “vendor” test, in particular. This method is applied by the professional platforms of the Job seekers office. This method was tested for recruitment prior to the opening of the stores in Sébazac (Rodez – 12) and Tarbes (65).

This employment fair for managers brought together many employers from the region (mainly Kiabi and Décathlon for distribution) and managers seeking jobs.

More than 150 applicants came to the Mr.Bricolage group stand. The head office of the group is located near to Orléans. The profiles of applicants matched the range of professions practiced within the group: logistics, controlling, accounts, marketing, sales, purchasing, etc.

Claire Berlie, Regional recruitment manager, represented the Mr.Bricolage store at the “Objectif Plein Emploi” employment fair organised by Monster in Lyon on Thursday 25 June 2009.

In addition to direct exchanges in view of describing opportunities in the Rhône Alpes region, practical workshops and conferences were organised for candidates.

70 candidates were interviewed at the Mr.Bricolage stand.

Around thirty companies held stands at the fair, including Groupama, Quick, la Banque Postale, Crédit Agricole, Point P, Saint Gobain, etc.

Monster organised an employment fair “Objectif Plein Emploi” at Nantes on Tuesday 23 June 2009.

This fair aimed to boost the job market by encouraging contact between job seekers and employers.

Yannik Legrain, Regional recruitment manger was present at the event to promote the stores.

Around fifty candidates were able to talk to Yannik and discover the opportunities open to them in the West of France.
