A Agadir au Maroc, Mr.Bricolage ouvre son 4ème magasin.
After Casablanca, Marrakech and Tangiers, Mr.Bricolage is opening a 4th retail point in Agadir. This store has 1870 m² of sales surface. It is located at Parc d’Activité Marjane, Commune Urbaine Ben Sergaou, Lotissement Founti, secteur J in Agadir.

In the context of a study mission for the Union des Industries du Bricolage (Unibal – DIY industrial union), several French manufacturers visited the Mr.Bricolage store in Casablanca.
Our local partner, the director of Moroccan stores and the person in charge of the international development of the Mr.Bricolage group welcomed this mission (photo opposite).
Representatives of the Mr.Bricolage group presented the site and current activities of the store in Morocco as well as planned developments.
The suppliers Nespoli, Autogyre, Coryl Lambert, PRCI, Dhaze Matériaux Services and SDMO were all able to discover the Moroccan DIY market, and its particularities and requirements. They were able to appraise potential business opportunities for their companies in the country.
On 10 February, Mr Bricolage opened a store in the town of Tangier in Morocco.
The store backs on to the Marjane-Médina hypermarket (leading store in Morocco). Many specialist superstores are located nearby. The sales outlet has a surface area of 2800 m² with 35,000 references.
In Morocco, Mr Bricolage uses the slogan “Opt for choice” highlighting the range of prices and products available. The store employs a team of 30 to advise customers and provide support for their projects.
The town of Tangier could offer major benefits for the group. The town has one million inhabitants and demographic growth is currently strong.
After Casablanca and Marrakech, Tangier is the third sales outlet for the group in Morocco. In a few months, a 4th store will open at Agadir.
In Morocco, the Mr Bricolage group will double the size of its network by opening two stores in 2011. Other projects will be completed in the coming years.
At Tangier, a new Mr Bricolage store will open its doors during the first quarter of 2011. During the following summer, the 4th Moroccan sales outlet will open in Agadir. In both cases, the sales outlets will open right next to a Marjane store, the leading food supermarket in Morocco.
Mr Bricolage is already present in Morocco, at Casablanca and Marrakech. The Casablanca store was opened in 2005. This is the largest DIY store in the country with a surface area of 4,000 m². The store offers a wide range of gardening products, particularly for outdoor gardening. At Marrakech, the store has a surface area of 2,000 m² and opened in 2008. This store is located in a trading estate with around thirty other stores, including one Marjane supermarket
In Morocco, Mr Bricolage stores import 50% of the 35,000 products on sale. These imported products are very popular with Moroccan customers, particularly at Marrakech. Store product ranges are similar to those of French stores. Sales plans were adapted to Moroccan customers. The gardening market in Moroccan includes products for outdoor use all year long.

Mr.Bricolage has recently completed the renovation of its Casablanca store. This sales outlet was opened on 31 March 2005, and was the first to be opened by the group in the country. The Moroccan team led by Majid Benjelloun renovated the store to increase focus on decoration and plumbing on the basis of the lessons learnt in the first four years of business. DIY and gardening ranges are still more than satisfactory in the 4,000+ m² of surface area covered by the store.
